I just love “Kiss”.

Prince was flawless from 1981-1988. “Purple Rain” was still in the Top 20 when he released the album “Around The World In A Day”. You could hear “I Would Die 4 U” and “Raspberry Beret” played on the radio, both in the top 40 charts at the same time, but from 2 different albums. Pretty crazy when you think about it. And just when the song “Pop Life” from that “Around the World in A Day” album was big, especially the 12″ extended version, he released “Kiss” and a single, just a few months later, then the “Parade” album. In 2 years, you got “Purple Rain” the legendary 5-star soundtrack, the “Purple Rain” film, “Around The World In a Day”, and “Parade”. He had associated acts that were great too. THE TIME, for example. Guitarist Jesse Johnson is SO underrated. And if you want a glam group built by Prince, try to find the debut album by MAZARATI. Also fantastic, but a bit more 80s.
