Yo Kele! I’ve been sceptical as far as “The Boxer” is concerned but after a whole day of listening to it on myspace I have to say it’s great! I love how the distorted voice suits the synthetic feel of ‘On The Lam’ or how ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ sounds like an electronic gospel. Or the simplicity of ‘Unholy Thoughts’. There’s a positive vibe on the album which I haven’t heard on your previous works. Whereas the last Bloc record sounded a bit overproduced sometimes this album sounds just right, confident. It suits you! Well done … Hope you’ll do some shows in Germany again … couldn’t see you in Cologne =/
