While I’m certain you won’t ever see this post, I’ll write it and, for myself, wake up tomorrow thinking that I was able to tell you what you meant to me as a musician and a person.

Your music and your lyrics have not only kept me from going crazy, they were actually the reason that I decided to pursue music.

I know that you’ve expressed distaste for the whole element of celebrity, but you deserve nothing less than my eternal admiration and love for both giving me a purpose and telling me what I needed to hear when I needed to hear it most.

You’re a wonderful human being and an excellent artist. I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors.
